When I was a little boy, life seemed and was so simple...

Living and laughing with eyes wide open, the world seemed so simple but beautiful.  Days spent with going to school and playing with friends.  Life seemed to be timeless and without end.  As I grew into a teenager and young man, I was taught to see the world through everyone's eyes and not merely my own.  Influenced by family and friends, I thought and believed I had many of the answers; and also BELIEVED I could and would make my stake in the world.  I married and started a family which brought me more JOY, LOVE, & HAPPINESS which no words could describe.  As I tackled my career and the corporate ladder I BELIEVED I had it all figured out.  The corporate ladder would be no match for me! Years past, family grew , and I found myself questioning who I was after all...lost in who I thought I was, and "WHO" I really was... 

 

Then through fate or grace, I was thrown into a hole of darkness.  Where only I could face my fears alone.  The fears were deep and dark.  The darkest I could not even have imagined in my worst nightmares.  Out of that darkest emerged that little boy, who once again saw the world in its simplest form.  Some would say I was blessed or a miracle.  But I see myself as that same little boy filled with Hope, Love , and faith in the world.  What I had learned is nothing really changed, I knew who I was all along...I just came to BELIEVE in myself!
