"How enriching it is to be Knight!"

On Friday, February 20th, I had the distinct honor of being invited as the guest speaker at the February breakfast meeting organized by the Catholic Business Network of South Jersey. This event took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where community members gathered to share in fellowship and faith. As the Grand Knight of Columbus Council 11498, it was a privilege to address such an esteemed group of individuals who are committed to living out their faith in both their personal and professional lives.

During my speech, I took the opportunity to share reflections drawn from my own personal spiritual journey, which has been profoundly shaped by my experiences as a member of the Knights of Columbus. I spoke passionately about the values and principles that guide us as Knights, emphasizing that our mission extends beyond mere membership; it is about embodying a spirit of service and dedication to our community and to God. Being a Knight is not just a title; it is a calling that empowers us to help others draw closer to God through various ministries and acts of service. We are reminded that our actions can have a significant impact on the lives of those around us, and through our collective efforts, we can truly make a difference in the world.

Prior to the meeting, attendees were invited to participate in a moment of spiritual reflection through guided Adoration held in the church, led by the inspiring group Live Vertical. This time of prayer and contemplation set a reverent tone for the gathering, allowing everyone to center their thoughts and intentions before engaging in the discussions of the day. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Catholic Business Network of South Jersey, the Camden Diocese, and the Catholic Star Herald for their unwavering support and dedication to fostering a strong community of faith. A special thank you is also warranted for Father James Bartoloma, the esteemed pastor of the Church of the Holy Family, who graciously joined us for Adoration and offered a meaningful blessing before we broke bread together for breakfast. His presence added a significant spiritual depth to our gathering, reminding us all of the importance of community and connection in our shared faith journey.
